The HelloLLVM community is a compiler technology community co-founded by several compiler practitioners, aimed at individual developers and enthusiasts. Its topics revolve around the LLVM compiler framework, MLIR, compiler theory, and open source community gossip. Since its founding in 2018, it has hosted many offline events. Since February 2023, Dr. Ji Qiu has been serving as the head of the HelloLLVM community, responsible for organizing daily activities.

HelloLLVM plans to hold its first online-and-offline event of 2025 on March 22: online via Tencent Meeting, with the offline venue tentatively in Tianjin. The offline meetup will use “What preparations are needed for compiler performance analysis and optimization” as its training theme, focusing on how to build and set up a compiler from scratch for performance analysis and optimization, and the use of basic tools. Through this process, participants will learn compiler development skills with live demonstrations. The combined seminar and workshop format lets participants master the knowledge and skills in practice.

This event is planned and organized by members of the Nanpanjiang Project. Thanks to PLCT Lab, the Jiachen Project and the HelloGCC community for funding and support. Event details are available here.
